What are progressive practice drills?

Progressive practice is an approach to drills developed by Bob Jewett where the difficulty level automatically adjusts to the players ability. The drill also results in a rating score that can be tracked over time to monitor improvement. More info can be found in “VEPP – Part II: Progressive Practice, and Draw Drills,” (BD, May, 2012), in Bob Jewett’s handout, and in Mike Pages’s video. Most of the drills in the Billiard University Playing-Ability Exams are progressive.
