How much speed does the CB lose when it rebounds off a cushion?

It doesn’t lose much at very when the CB approaches at a very shallow angle, but at steep angles under typical conditions, the CB typically loses about half of its speed. The amount of speed lost depends a little on cloth condition and the type of spin the CB has coming into the cushion:

The cushion nose height and angle can also have a big effect. For example, Diamond brand tables are known for lively cushions that bank short.
